Bahamian Sunset

My husband and I rented a charming beach house on the stunning island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas—famous for its rare pink-sand beaches, where tiny foraminifera shells tint the soft sand a delicate rosy hue.

Each evening, the sunsets were pure magic: the sky ablaze with vibrant oranges, pinks, and deep blues, the calm turquoise sea reflecting every fiery glow as the sun dipped below the horizon, often framed by swaying palms and gentle waves lapping the shore.

I captured dozens of photos to savor those breathtaking moments, and back home, I poured that tropical serenity into this oil painting—preserving forever the peaceful romance and golden-hour wonder of our unforgettable getaway.
