Recently, I came upon several articles about a new 14,000 square foot bioweapon lab opening in Ft. Collins, Colorado this month, September 2025. According to the Daily Mail, September 9, 2025 exclusive:
America’s frightening new bat lab: $12m taxpayer-funded NIH research facility in Colorado will import bats from Asia and infect them with deadly diseases – in project with China-linked scientists[1]
(Wuhan, China ring a bell?)
Most people that I have talked to think that gain of function research (GOF) has been banned. “But wait,” they ask, “Wasn’t GOF research banned by Presdident Trump last May?” “Didn’t the HHS debar Peter Daszack and Eco Health Allinace because or their role in bioengineering Covid in Wuhan?” “Didn’t Obama ban GOF research during his administration?” I will answer those questions shortly.
In December 2022, the Colorado Larimer County Planning Commission approved the new “bat lab” in Fort Collins after giving only one day notice to the public for opposition.[2] This shows me that we all should be running for local positions on city councils and planning boards if we want to take back control and have our voices heard.
One outraged citizen, Christine Bowman, who started a grass roots group to oppose the research lab, said,
“We need answers as to how Covid-19 was modified to transfer from human to human before I will be satisfied that it’s okay to raise diseased bats to study in my neighborhood. Now that we know that the COVID pandemic likely started from a lab leak in Wuhan, China, we are questioning the safety of continuing such research….After letting chronic wasting disease [CWD] leak from their labs at CSU, hundreds of thousands of the deer population were killed from the disease. They (CSU) do not have a good track record of ensuring the safety or containment of diseases.….” [3]
Children’s Health Defense published a report written by Michael Nevradakis about the ongoing biological research at CSU.[4] In the report, Francis Boyle,Ph.D., a bioweapons expert, stated:
“It is well known that Colorado State University has a long and ongoing history of specialization in weaponizing insects with biowarfare agents for delivery to human beings. This new lab will magnitudinally increase CSU’s offensive biowarfare capabilities, in gross violation of the Biological Weapons Convention of 1972 and my Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 that provides for life in prison.”
Colorado State University already conducts research involving viruses related to “chikungunya, dengue, malaria, Rift Valley fever, Zika virus, COVID-19, MERS, influenza [and] hantavirus disease.” The new facility will expand the research to viruses that have high mortality in humans: SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2, Ebola virus, Marburg virus, Nipah virus and Hendra virus.”[5]
50 to 75% of those infected with Nipah Virus die.[6] According to the World Health Organization the average Ebola disease case fatality rate is around 50%. Fatality rates have varied depending on the Ebola strain from 25–90% in past outbreaks.[7] The average fatality rate for Marburg virus is around 50%, ranging from 24 to 88%. [8] Hendra virus mortlity rate is 60%.[9] MERS-CoV has a case-fatality rate of 37.2%.[10]
Another related article from November of 2024 uncovered that healthcare workers at Colorado’s Denver Health were given Merk’s ERVEBO live Ebola vaccines. According to FDA insert for Merck’s EVERBO, the vaccine “sheds” in more than 31.7% of those vaccinated with the drug for up to 20 days after vaccination.[11]
Funny thing, Denver Health, where the healthcare workers received the Ebola vaccine “as a preventative measure in case of a future outbreak,” is 65 miles from the new taxpayer funded 12-million-dollar bioweapons lab being built in Fort Collins. Do they know something we aren’t being told?

U.S. and South Korean Scientists Lab-Engineer Frankenstein Bird Flu Viruses in Georgia
This month, the journal Virology published a study confirming that U.S. researchers at Georgia State University and South Korean collaborators from Jeju National University and Sungshin Women’s University are using reverse genetics to create chimeric H5N1 “Frankenstein” bird flu viruses.

Around the country GOF research is continuing and lab leaks have occurred at other research facilities. Lab leaks are more common than we think.
Lyme disease is just one example of how serious an accidental lab leak or purposeful lab leak could become. Approximately 476,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the United States alone[12].
According to the book: The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons— the Lyme epidemic was started by a military experiment gone wrong. Dr. Willy Burgdorf, the man who discovered the bacterial pathogen that causes Lyme disease, worked for the DoD as a bioweapon’s specialist. He explained that they stuffed ticks with pathogens to cause severe disability, disease—even death—to potential enemies.
The U.S. government was heavily involved in bioweapons research during the cold war. Scientists were tasked to turn infectious microbes into potent military weapons that could infect a huge population. Most speculate that their target was Russia. One of the pathogens that Dr. Burgdorf discovered and worked with was “Borrelia burgdorferi”, which was named after him, and is the key cause of debilitating and deadly Lyme disease.
Wasn’t Gain of Function Research Banned?
Now to set the record straight as to whether President Trump or President Obama banned gain-of-function (GOF) research. In short, neither President banned GOF. Let me start with the current administration.
President Trump’s executive order, signed on May 5, 2025, BANNED “FEDERAL FUNDING” for “dangerous gain-of-function research” in foreign countries like China and Iran and IMPOSED RESTRICTIONS on GOF in the United States. The order, titled “Improving the Safety and Security of Biological Research,” HALTED “FEDERAL FUNDING” for such research in countries deemed to lack sufficient oversight and PAUSED “FEDERALLY FUNDED” RESEARCH involving infectious pathogens and toxins within the U.S. UNTIL a new, safer, and more transparent policy can be developed. Gain-of-function research CAN CONTINUE under PRIVATELY FUNDED ventures. FEDERAL FUNDING WILL RESUME FOR GOF once new safety restrictions are in place. COMPRENDO? In essence, it was all a “dog and pony show.”
I checked the White House and National Institutes of Health (NIH) websites for updates on the stricter guidelines for gain-of-function research mandated by President Trump’s May 5, 2025, executive order.
As of September 14, 2025, the White House Website contains the full text of the executive order titled “Improving the Safety and Security of Biological Research” (dated May 5, 2025). However, no specific update or announcement confirming the completion of these strict guidelines is present on the White House website as of September 9, 2025. The guidelines should have been completed recently, but no public announcement or detailed policy document is available on the White House or NIH sites.[13] [14]
Honestly, I don’t care about strict guidelines; I want the dangerous gain of function research TOTALLY OUTLAWED/BANNED/GONE/FINITO.
What Happened to Dr. Daszak who worked for Eco Health Alliance which facilitated dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan China and coordinated the research with the evil Dr. Fauci at the National Institute of Health (NIH)?
According to oversight.health.gov on January 17, 2025 press release:
Today after an eight-month investigation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cut off all funding and formally debarred EcoHealth Alliance Inc. (EcoHealth) and its former President, Dr. Peter Daszak, for five years based on evidence uncovered by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic
Justice for the American people was served today. Bad actor EcoHealth Alliance and its corrupt former President, Dr. Peter Daszak, were formally debarred by HHS for using taxpayer funds to facilitate dangerous gain-of-function research in China. Today’s decision is not only a victory for the U.S. taxpayer, but also for American national security and the safety of citizens worldwide.
Note “debarring” refers to a formal administrative action that prohibits an individual or organization from participating in federal contracts, grants, or other financial assistance programs for a specified period. Debar in the context of the EcoHealth Alliance and Dr. Peter Daszak is not like disbarring a lawyer, though the terms sound similar and both involve exclusion from a professional activity. In the case of Eco Health alliance and Dr. Peter Daszak, they were only debarred from RECEIVING FEDERAL FUNDS AND ONLY FOR FIVE YEARS. Gain of function research was never banned. (Barely a slap on the wrist) It was just another “dog and pony show” to make us feel safe.
Did the Obama administration outlaw gain of function research?
Gain-of-function (GOF) research was TEMPORARILY PAUSED in the United States under the Obama administration. In October 2014, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced a FUNDING PAUSE on certain types of GOF research involving influenza, SARS, and MERS viruses.
This pause specifically targeted experiments that could enhance the pathogenicity or transmissibility of these pathogens in mammals, particularly via respiratory routes, due to concerns about biosafety and biosecurity risks, such as potential lab accidents or misuse.
The PAUSE detailed in a White House statement on October 17, 2014, APPLIED TO NEW “FEDERAL FUNDING” for GOF research projects and ENCOURAGED “VOLUNTRAY” SUSPENSION of ongoing projects while they deliberated on the risks and benefits of GOF. The pause was accompanied by a call for a National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) review to develop a new policy framework. (Sounds similar to Trump’s executive order).
The FEDERAL FUNDING PAUSE lasted until December 2017, when the HHS released a new framework for reviewing GOF research. This action effectively resumed federally funded GOF research under stricter guidelines. In summary, GOF research FUNDING was not permanently banned but was paused from October 2014 to December 2017 under Obama, with a focus on developing safer protocols.[15] [16]
President Trump’s executive order mirrored the Obama administration’s PAUSED FEDERAL FUNDING (and did not ban private funding) UNTIL NEW RESTRICTIONS FOR SAFER GOF RESEARCH WERE PUT IN PLACE. There was never a ban on gain of function research by either administration. Doesn’t that make you feel all safe and secure?
So where does that leave us now that we know that gain of function research was never banned?
Twenty percent of research is privately funded. Many labs and universities have a combination of federal funds and private funds. Despite the pause of federal funding for what they deem dangerous GOF research, the research continues in private labs and “seemingly” in federally funded labs that are considered “safe” research labs. Federal funding will resume for all the labs once new so-called safety protocols are in place.
Investigative journalist Allison Young wrote a book titled, “Pandora’s Gamble: Lab Leaks, Pandemics, and a World At Risk”[17]
Her book covers the history and risks of laboratory accidents involving dangerous pathogens. Young revealed that lab accidents occur with alarming frequency—even in top-tier facilities (with so-called “strict” safety protocols already in place)—and are often concealed by institutions and governments.
Has it all been one big Dog and Pony Show?

According to Dictionary.com a dog and pony show is:
An elaborate presentation to gain approval for a product or policy. For example, “The administration loved putting on a dog-and-pony show for every “minor” change of policy.”[18]
In essence, a dog and pony show is an overhyped performance or presentation meant to dazzle or convince, but often lacking real depth. The term comes from 1800s America, when small circuses showcased tricks by dogs and ponies to draw crowds with eye-catching but simple acts. Over time, it evolved to mean any showy effort that prioritizes style over substance.
What can we do?
As I said before, local state, county and city political positions and boards need to be taken over by those who care about the local population and those who are not influenced or controlled by special interests like Big Pharma and three letter agencies like the HHS, DOD etc..
Personally, I believe that both getting involved in your local community and prayers are needed. We need to educate the general public, family and friends, that rely on the mockingbird media for their information. We must not sit back and let Big Pharma control our lives. We are to expose the evil deeds of darkness and do something about it before it is too late. [19]
