Early in my painting journey, I came across a stunning photograph of the Rocky Mountains on a calendar—snow-capped peaks piercing a dramatic sky of purple and orange, mirrored perfectly in a serene lake below.

Captivated, I used it as inspiration for this piece, faithfully copying the scene while adding my own subtle artistic touches to make it truly mine.

This painting holds special meaning as one of my first landscape efforts, capturing the wild beauty that first sparked my passion for the medium.
